The Boz Adventures team is working hard on building relationships with park representatives. Our goal is to keep our information as current as possible. We've started with a hundred and expanding to two thousand.

We have increased our Google Earth count to over 3400 locations. With the new park relationships, we have acquired several park maps and are actively adding attractions. If you find a location that does not seem to be in our database please submit it at http://www.bozadventures.com/outside/GPS.aspx.

You can now view Google Earth in Boz Adventures without down loading Boz Adventures Live. In order for it to work, you will have to download a simple plug-in that is small and safe. Please check it out at http://www.bozadventures.com/GoogleEarth.aspx.

The Boz Adventures team has located over 3300 different locations and our goal is to add thousands more in the near future. We have collected information from thousands of amusement parks, water parks, zoos, family entertainment centers, museums and more all over the world. To fulfill our mission statement we will be contacting every location in our database to ensure accurate information. You can view our collection by using Google Earth and downloading a network link found on http://www.bozadventures.com/GoogleEarth.aspx.

Registration to our Park Login environment is free. Attraction representatives will have the ability to change information, post news releases and currently the service is free.

Also for registered representatives, we have a detailed description of our newest project, Adventure Map. You can attract new visitors, keep them informed and much more with Adventure Map.

We have some big plans for Boz Adventure this year, starting with an upgrade to .Net Framework 3.5. This will improve the usability of the site and allows for new features. You may experience a few bugs, but please be patient and we will get everything straighten out.

We are working hard on adding new GPS locations to Boz Adventures. Currently we are over 3300 and quickly growing. We are trying to add our data to Google Earth as a permanent layer.

We have a new technology in the pipeline that I believe everyone will be interested in. It's call Adventure Map and I'll keep you posted.

New Feature. We now allow our valued members to post opinion about parks, zoos, family fun centers, roller coasters, rides and more. Share your experiences and thoughts on tourist sites world wide. In the vey near future the reviews will be seen on Boz Adventures Live; our dynamic Google Earth network link. Post your review and become apart of the Boz Adventures community.

To get started login/register, find the attraction on Boz Adventures, click on review on top of the screen and write a review. We take the reviews very seriously so if we find fake or harmful review we will discard them immediately.

I spent some time during the Ohio blizzard to upgrade the Google Earth Network Link or the Boz Adventures Live. I received some great new icons for the water parks, zoos, family fun centers, iconic landmarks, museums, historical sites and more. It’s so much nicer to visualize the attraction type.

Sorry I haven’t posted for a while. I’ve been working hard on recoding Boz Adventures.

Boz Adventures now has two new features of Ride Count and Ride Rater. I’m still working on a few details, but Ride Count is now working. I’m working on showing more stats on members’ riding preferences.

This summer is going fast. I’ve made several trips and trying to get all the information on to Boz Adventures. I hope your summer has been fun and safe.

I’m proud to announce that Boz Adventures is now in Facebook. You can check it out at http://apps.facebook.com/bozadventures. If you want to be a Boz Adventures member without a long registration process, then register through Facebook. The only requirements are to be logged into Facebook and select your username.

The trip overall was a great. Rain did slow us down for half the day, but was impressed how responsive Holiday World was to weather changes.

The 4 of us rolled in around 9:30 to Lake Rudolph Campground, hoping to set up camp early. The campground was packed so our chances were slim. We parked at the campgrounds bought our tickets and walked to Holiday World. The staff at the Lake Rudolph is just as friendly and helpful as Holiday World. Also a side note, if you are staying at Lake Rudolph, you can purchase great discount tickets there.

We got into the park and rode The Raven and The Legend. Both coasters were running great. The girls commented that all the coasters were smooth according to their “boob-o-meter.” (If you don’t understand, ask a girl what happens when they are on a roller coaster)

Around lunch time we stop at the Plymouth Rock Café, which I think is the best value in the park. You get a choice of meat and 3 sides for $6.99. That’s unheard of at any other park. Oh did I mention that your drinks are free all day long.

The Voyage, the only word that can completely describe this coaster is “WOW.” This coaster has it all, height, speed, 90 degree banks, tunnels, head choppers and so much more. This coaster has so much power and speed from start to finish that it’s hard to catch your breath. I can see why it’s the #1 wooden coaster, of course it depends on what poll, but at Boz Adventures it’s #1.

After the hard park we then walked to Splashin' Safari. This is the biggest water park I’ve been. They have got every novelty water slide you can think of. The new Bakuli area is really a lot of fun. The water park as a whole is a great time and extremely busy on the hot weekends.

This is where our fun starts. Around 5, a thunderstorm rolls into the area, obviously closing the water park and most of the hard park. So now thousands of people in their bathing suits are walking to the exit, changing and returning keys. Surprisingly enough, the employees handled the congestion extremely well and the situation turned into a nuisance instead of a problem.

We decided it was time to set up our campsite. We got everything situated there and headed back to Holiday World. It was sunny when we left, but dark clouds when we got in line for our first ride. After getting burses from the wife bumping into me on the scrambler, we headed to the Kringle's Kafé. This is the best place to be if you are ever stuck in rain. This is the largest café in the park with ample sitting area, a wide variety of food and is close to the exit if you decide you want to leave quickly.

After an hour of eating and waiting out the rain, we ventured to the Gobbler Getaway. This is one of the 4 must dos at Holiday World. This ride is a dark ride that gives you a gun that captures turkeys. How the ride works is that you hit targets and get points while competing with 3 other riders within your car. This is a lot of fun, especially with someone who is competitive.

We had a few hours left in the day and rode the flat rides we missed earlier. Our only customer service complaint was on the Revolution. The ride operator was on some type of power trip. She was concern about safety, which is great, but how she approached it was totally out of line. One out of hundreds of employees is not bad, especially compared to the bigger parks.

We had to ride The Voyage one last time and glad we did. It was 9:30, rainy and I thought The Voyage couldn’t get better. To my surprise, there was 1 light section, everything else was dark. I’m usually the one that never holds on, but this time, I’m holding on for dear life. The Gravity Group, I solute you, this coaster is genius! I can’t wait for your next project.

I can see why this park is number 1 in friendliest park and has the best value. Pat and Will Koch, you are doing something right. You just won yourself a loyal patron from the Columbus market. If you have any doubts about the small park is southern Indiana, just go and experience it yourself.

Hello everyone,

The site is under a major overhaul. The homepage is the first and the most significant change. I added a Google Map with all found attractions. This allows for quick search if you know your area of interest.

Another big area of improvement is the member’s area. Many page improvements and new functions will be offered in next few weeks.

I’ll be making several trips to park around the country and will be posting new images and reviews. Please feel free to do the same.

I’ve been getting tons of data corrections. Thank you! Programming and researching at the same time is very time consuming. So, please keep your accurate information coming.

Welcome Boz Adventures’ visitors. I haven’t written in the blog for a few months due to the extensive reconstruction of the site. We are making several changes to the site in preparation for the new season. In example the mobile version, where any cell phone with Internet access can view current information. Also visitors can submit up-to-date queue information for any ride or roller coaster in Boz Adventure straight from your cell phone.

We are currently working on some older and under utilized pages. Our plan is to make these pages more user friendly, more dynamic with AJAX and easier to navigate the site. Please excuse any errors this might arise from these growing pains.

We have also have found over 2100 GPS locations. Our GPS database is quickly growing. If you have an attraction that you think should be in Boz Adventures, please don’t hesitate to let us know. We are excited to receive several submissions for data updates. Thank you!

There are some really exciting ideas in the development stages that are not quit ready, but beta version might be ready by mid season. So, please check back for updates.

After the fun an relaxing holidays, let’s get back to business. I reviewed many of the errors over the last few months and worked hard to resolve them. I know there are still many minor errors, but once they are recorded, I will be better to diagnose them.

One other thing I have noticed is that the site has slow times. I am working with the host to resolve this issue. Please be patient and supportive.

I worked hours on improving Boz Adventures in the last few weeks. I’m trying to refine the presentation of the information and make it more user-friendly. There are some new features on Boz Adventures such as Google Gadget and Boz Mobile.

I recently visited the St. Louis Zoo and collected some more GPS coordinates. I found the locations to be more accurate. I am now planning on visiting more zoos during the winter months.

I have found just fewer than 1500 locations. I hope to have all major rides and roller coasters of large parks in the United States by next season.

I recently visited the Columbus Zoo and collected multiple GPS coordinates of rides, animal attractions (shows) and shops. I took many pictures and will be adding them soon. I have noticed that some of my GPS coordinates are slightly off, but I’m working on a solution to fix the problem.

In recent months I have updated the site to Visual Studios 2005. The upgrade was long and tedious. But, on a positive note, bozadventures.com is now being developed 5 times faster. Also I believe that I have more flexibility with the code.

My journey creating Boz Adventures has been a long one. My passion for roller coasters and amusement parks started when I was young. As long as I could remember I loved the amusement industry. Because of this I started college as a Mechanical Engineer wanting to design roller coasters. After getting my associates degree I realize that getting into this small industry was extremely difficult. I transferred schools and majors and got my BS degree in Management Information Systems fro Miami University (of Ohio). I have been working on Boz Adventures.com for 5 years now. I want to document my experience creating this site.
